CESSRST II Fellows- Harold Gamarro, Alessandra Zuniga, Maria C. Novoa Garcia, participated in the 103rd American Meteorological Society (AMS) that took place from the 8th to the 12th of January, 2023 in Denver, Colorado.
During the AMS Annual Meeting, Harold Gamarro made an oral presentation on Modeling Complex 3-D Coastal-Urban Impacts on Air Quality Distribution: Evaluation Based on High-Spatial-Resolution NO2 Retrievals. Harold enjoyed the urban and boundary layer component of the annual meeting and the opportunity to meet all the key players in his field of research. During the meeting, Harold also participated in a short course on how to use the next generation NOAA forecasting weather model through a half day tutorial session
Alessandra Zuniga presented a poster on Estimating Water Requirements of Field Grown Grapevines (Vitis vinifera L.) Under Regular Irrigated Conditions Using in situ Soil Water Availability & Trunk Sap Flow Measurements.
Maria Novoa presented a poster on Design of A Low Swap Dual-Band Radiometer for UAS Remote Sensing Applications
