Enrique is a NOAA EPP Earth System Sciences and Remote Sensing Fellow at the Graduate Center at the City University of New York and pursuing a PhD in Earth and Environmental Sciences. His research explores how low-income renters perceive climate change adaptation in New York City and employs participatory mapping to overlay renters’ spatial priorities with climate threats. This research supports NOAA’s goal of engaging publics and supporting policy/planning by including “hard to reach” populations.
